Dhubela Museum in Khajuraho

Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum, popularly known as the Dhubela Museum with the wide variety of Shakti Cult sculptures.It is situated in an old fort near the banks of a lake. A large number of tourists attracts towards the Museums as it is filled with the rich collection of artefacts, weapons and paintings. It is known for the ancient as well as the modern era.Here the tourists can also see the different section of the garments also.This museum is filled with the eight galleries from which the every gallery is unique and fascinating in its own way.Here you can see the Sati Pillars, Copper Plates and Shiva Linga. In the Jain Galleries the tourists can see the images like Rishabhnath, Gomedh Ambika, Sarvatobhadrika and Chakreshwari.

In the Dhubela Museum the tourists came to know about the lifestyle of the Bundela kings.The sculptures exhibited in the museum belong to the Shakti cult. This Museum is situated 16 kms away from the Chhatarpur on the Chhatarpur-Nowgaon Highway, was set up in 1955. Here you can see the collection of Bundela and Dynasty.
